The testing system included multiple strain gauges with 50-meter shielded cables, strain gauge welding accessories, and one HP-DJ8225 Dynamic Data Acquisition and Analysis System.
Project Description
Strain gauges were symmetrically installed on both sides of key structural components of the tower crane. Different load weights were applied during lifting operations to conduct strain measurements under various working conditions.
Based on the measured strain data and material elastic modulus, the corresponding stress values were calculated. The testing program included both single-side loading and dual-side loading conditions.
Within the safety-rated load range, loads were gradually increased across multiple weight levels to simulate real operating scenarios. Stress variations at different structural locations were continuously monitored to evaluate the overall safety performance of the tower crane.
